Nana Deb’s Aprons was born of a love of creativity and compassion for the world’s forgotten and neglected fabric. Each apron is hand-made from rescued, re-imagined, and re-invigorated fabrics and trims to be a useful, easy care, durable garment. I find never used fabric at estate sales, thrift shops, and remnant close-outs. Occasionally a table cloth or drapery is re-purposed, but all of my materials are washed and have plenty of life left in them. This makes my business ‘green’, and the final American made product affordable.
Because of Nana Deb’s ever changing stash of materials, aprons are made one at a time, and each is unique. The photo gallery is for examples only. Please look at my photos for ideas, then contact me to request just what you like! I am happy to work with clients to create a personalized garment in a particular style and color palette, and I’ll make every effort to honor each person’s taste, but the final creation will reflect my inspiration and current fabric supply.
Garments are average in size unless requested otherwise, with strong pocket stitching and ample tie length.
